Bathroom Sinks

Vanity sinks come in several categories – drop-in, undermount and vessel. The type of countertop installed in the bathroom will help homeowners determine what type of sink will work best in their space. Drop-in sinks can work with any countertop material. Most often, these are used in conjunction with laminate or tile countertops, as drop-in sinks cover the raw edge around the sink cut-out.

Undermount sinks work only with solid surface, granite or quartz countertops. This is because the edge of the countertop is exposed around the sink opening, and these products can be polished to create a beautiful finish.

Vessels are available for use in any type of countertop material. Vessel sinks can sit fully on top of the countertop, or be dropped partly under the countertop, depending upon the sink style.
